CoolGamesYo ("we", "us") operates coolgamesyo.com. This policy explains what data is involved when you use our site.

What We Collect

Accounts (optional). If you create an account, we store your email address and a display name you choose. Your email is used only for login. Authentication is managed by Supabase (privacy policy). We do not store passwords.

Account data. Logged-in users may store favorites, friend connections, game invites and notifications, cloud game saves (up to 64 KB per game), and a custom theme color. This data is stored in our Supabase database and tied to your account.

Premium subscriptions. If you subscribe, your subscription status and Stripe subscription ID are stored. We never see or store your payment card details — Stripe handles all payment processing directly (privacy policy).

Browser storage. We use localStorage (not cookies) to cache your profile and theme color for faster page loads. Some games also store local data: Ghosty’s Bad Day saves your best time, and Satisfying Solitaire saves your theme and sound settings. This data stays on your device and can be cleared in your browser settings at any time.

Multiplayer. Golfee Golf and Masher use WebSocket connections for real-time play. Your display name and in-game actions (shots, positions, mash counts) are transmitted to other players in your room. No multiplayer data is stored after you disconnect.

Third-Party Services & Cookies

We do not set first-party cookies. The following third-party services may collect data (such as your IP address) or set cookies when you use our site:

• Google Analytics — collects anonymous usage data (pages visited, browser type, general location). Opt out.
• Google Fonts — loads the Inter typeface from Google's servers.
• Cloudflare — CDN and security; may set security cookies.
• Stripe — may set cookies during checkout for fraud prevention.
• jsDelivr — serves third-party libraries (privacy policy).
• Buttondown — manages the optional newsletter (privacy policy).

Google's privacy policy applies to Analytics and Fonts. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings.

Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Your Choices

• All games are fully playable without an account or subscription.
• Cancel Premium anytime via the Stripe customer portal.
• Request account deletion at [email protected].
• Clear browser storage anytime in your browser settings.
• Multiplayer is opt-in — no data is transmitted unless you join an online room.
• Unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link in any email.

Data Retention

Browser storage persists until you clear it. Multiplayer data is deleted when all players leave. Account data is kept until you request deletion. Stripe retains payment records per their own policies.
